Course Accreditation and Duration

Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

OHSU School of Medicine Division of CME, designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This course is approved for two years from January, 2009 through December 2010.

Obtaining CME Credit Certificate

To obtain the maximum number of credits, you must complete Modules 1 and 2 and answer at least 80% of the post-test questions for each module correctly. You will need to keep track of the total amount of time you spend on these modules and only claim credit for that amount of time.

Obtaining a Certificate of Completion

All health professionals are eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion that can be applied to continuing education requirements in your field. To obtain the maximum number of credits, you must also complete Modules 1 and 2 and complete 80% of the test questions for each module correctly. You will also need to keep track of your time on these modules and only claim the number of credits for the time you actually spend.

Supplemental Modules

There are two supplemental modules. Modules 1 and 2 contain the key points from all modules. Modules 3 and 4 have expanded information on selected topics of interest. You may also view and answer the test questions for these modules as part of your learning activity. These modules are not eligible for credit.
